Through my work I like to explore functionality and form. I see the two being challenging me, because of the constraints they can impose in the process. These constraints are personally a great tool for me. I find the mindset of problem solving driving my process forward.

The process of creating functional pieces is comforting to me, as they automatically have a place and purpose in the world. I want my pieces to be created with intention, and I find the functionality to be the key to that intention. While functionality is important, I still consider my form language to be where I find the solutions, and are able to stay true to my work.

Something that I wish for my objects in the future is for them to be able to create a sense of sentimental value, because hopefully I'm able to create pieces that last lifetimes.
