What currently interests me in my practice is the drive and thought of community-based processes, driven by the idea of energy flow, collaborative work, sharing ideas and knowledge, elements that naturally results in something unpredictability, but filled with different perspectives.

I have chosen to work with an element of deconstruction in my objects and enjoy the process of wood firing. Both works as collaborative partners, which adds unpredictability to my work. The interest in collaborative work comes from a gentle, perhaps naïve hope, that our way of living will move toward togetherness rather than individuality.

What excites me most about ceramics is the way it can foster connection. Clay is a material that carries a history, and working with the material, I would love to communicate wonder, joy, and exploration to the viewer.
