I’ve been creative for as long as I can remember. I crafted clothes, made up games and built dollhouses from anything I could get my hands on. Much later in life I found clay and plaster and was instantly captivated.
I love working with plaster because it aligns with my way of working and supports the aesthetic, I strive for – clean lines and precise shapes. I like the complexity and attention to detail it takes to produce great results. It’s demanding and unforgiving but when it works, it’s magic.
Ultimately, I create because it brings me joy. I’m curious about the material, it’s possibilities and limitations. I love testing and experimenting, finding new ways to do things. Geeking out about technical aspects, material qualities or production is a lot of fun for me.
I love working with my hands and creating things that weren’t there before. I love creating things for people, making everyday life and routines more beautiful and joyful. Connecting with people through my creations is the best feeling ever.
